Crown Owners

Everything you need to enjoy your Crown.

Crown watches are designed around proven, serviceable components and straightforward ownership. Below you'll find instructions for setting and operating your watch, care information, and assistance if you ever need a replacement component or service.

AUTOMATIC WATCH INSTRUCTIONS

Most Crown automatic models use the Seiko NH35 movement. Some Crown models do not display a date; on these watches, you may feel an unused crown position when setting the watch. This is normal.

Starting Your Watch

If your watch has stopped due to being unworn:

Your watch features an automatic rotor (swing weight) that winds the movement as you wear it. Regular daily movement will keep the watch powered.

Setting the Date (Date Models Only)

⚠️ Important: Never adjust the date between 9:00 PM and 3:00 AM, as this can damage the movement.

For best results, set the date when the time is between 2:30 PM and 4:30 PM.

CARE & WATER RESISTANCE

Always make sure the crown is fully pushed in and securely screwed down before exposing your watch to water. Snug is sufficient. Do not overtighten the crown, particularly on bronze and titanium models.
