No two timepieces will ever be the same.
Born in Bend, Oregon, Crown Watch Company creates timepieces for those who understand that time is more than something you measure—it’s something you live. Each Crown watch is individually crafted, ensuring no two are ever alike. Subtle variations in materials and finish make every piece as distinct as the person wearing it, a reflection of character rather than trend. In a world of mass production, Crown stands apart, honoring authenticity, individuality, and the quiet confidence that comes from owning something truly personal.
No Two Alike – Each Crown watch is unique, with natural variations that ensure exclusivity.
Born in Bend, Oregon – Inspired by a place defined by independence, craftsmanship, and the outdoors.
Designed for Real Life – Equally at home in the office, on the trail, or off the grid.
Purpose-Driven Craftsmanship – Built with intention, not excess; every detail serves a function.
Timeless Over Trendy – A design philosophy focused on longevity, not seasonal fashion.
A Personal Statement – More than an accessory, a reflection of how you value your time.
Most Crown watch models are equipped with the Seiko NH35 automatic movement with a date function. Some models do not display a date. On non-date models, you may feel an extra “ghost” crown position when pulling the crown out — this is normal and does not affect operation.
If your watch has stopped due to being unworn:
Unscrew the crown by turning it counterclockwise until it releases.
Turn the crown clockwise approximately 20 times.
The movement will begin running.
Your watch features an automatic rotor (swing weight) that winds the movement as you wear it. Regular daily movement will keep the watch powered.
⚠️ Important: Never adjust the date between 9:00 PM and 3:00 AM, as this can damage the movement.
For best results, set the date when the time is between 2:30 PM and 4:30 PM.
Unscrew the crown (counterclockwise).
Pull the crown all the way out (two clicks).
Advance the time forward past 12:00 until the date changes — this confirms you are in AM.
Continue turning the time past 12:00 on more time to approximately 2:30 PM.
Push the crown in one click (first position).
Turn the crown clockwise to advance the date to the correct day.
Pull the crown out fully again (two clicks).
Set the correct time.
Push the crown fully in and screw it down snugly.
Set the date to the previous day.
Pull the crown out fully.
Advance the time forward past 12:00 until the date changes to the correct day.
Continue setting the correct time.
Unscrew the crown by turning it counterclockwise.
Pull the crown out fully (two clicks).
Turn the crown to set the correct time.
Push the crown fully back in.
Screw the crown down clockwise until snug.
⚠️ Do not over-tighten. Especially on bronze or titanium models, only light finger pressure is needed to ensure water resistance. Using your fingertips or fingernails helps prevent over-tightening.
Always ensure the crown is fully pushed in and securely screwed down before exposure to water. Snug is sufficient — excessive force is unnecessary.
At Crown Watch Company, our approach is built around transparency, practicality, and value. Rather than inflating prices to account for traditional warranty structures, we focus on sourcing proven, high-quality components at the most efficient cost. Movements such as Seiko automatics are widely respected for their reliability and serviceability, and in many cases can be replaced entirely for less than the cost of a conventional repair. By avoiding a standard warranty program—one that would add as much as 50% to the retail price—we’re able to offer a well-built, dependable timepiece at a more accessible price point. This approach allows customers to invest in craftsmanship and performance without paying a premium for overhead that often goes unused.
Your new Crown watch was built with common parts that can be purchased or repaired by any watch repair service. If you need a replacement part, such as a case, crown, crystal, or strap, we can order it for you. Just fill out the form below, and let us know what you need.
